Mr. Fortune Tonubari Taol is a seasoned finance executive with over three decades of post-qualification experience spanning Manufacturing, FMCG, Real Estate, Hospitality, and the Oil & Gas sectors. He brings deep expertise in financial management, internal controls, audit, treasury operations, and strategic reporting.

He began his career in 1997 with Horizon Concepts as an Accounting Officer before joining SCOA Nigeria Plc as Accounts Superintendent, later serving as Area Accountant – East. He subsequently moved to Michelin Nigeria Limited, where he held roles as Financial Accountant and Treasury Accountant across Port Harcourt and Lagos.

In 2002, Mr. Taol joined UAC of Nigeria Plc, where he served in several strategic finance and audit roles, including Zonal Audit Manager. He was seconded to Grand Cereals and Oil Mills Limited as Financial Accountant and later Internal Check Manager. He subsequently returned to UAC’s Group Audit Department as Audit Team Manager before transitioning to UACN Property Development Company Plc as Financial Accountant.

In 2008, he joined Fin Properties Limited (a subsidiary of Finbank Plc) as Chief Accountant, and later served as Finance Manager at Lisabi Mills (Nigeria) Limited, a pioneer food processing company in Nigeria. He continued to expand his leadership portfolio as Finance and Accounts Manager at Topline Limited before assuming his current role as Group Head, Finance at OCI Group in June 2022.

Mr. Taol possesses extensive expertise in internal audit and control systems, management accounting, financial strategy, compliance, and performance management. His leadership approach combines operational discipline with strategic financial insight to drive sustainable growth and organizational excellence.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. He has attended several executive and strategic management programs, including courses at Lagos Business School.
