Built on commitment, sustained by quality service delivery

Oceanklass Solutions Limited was founded by Dr Emuemukoro Christopher to engage in the business of marine logistics and support services, welding and fabrication, oilfield services, rig works, pipeline maintenance and repair, sale, supply and distribution of petroleum, petrochemical and allied products.

Foundation and Vision

Oceanklass Solutions emerged from entrepreneurial groundwork laid in 2003, when its founder established an enterprise with a clear ambition: to operate at the highest level of service excellence within the energy sector. The name Oceanklass was intentionally chosen to reflect scale, leadership, and distinction, drawing inspiration from the ocean as the largest and most powerful body of water. From inception, the vision was simple yet demanding: to remain at the top by consistently delivering services defined by class, quality, and professionalism. This philosophy shaped the company’s culture and positioned it for structured growth. In 2008, the business evolved into a fully incorporated limited liability company, establishing a formal platform to pursue larger opportunities, invest in assets, and build long-term partnerships across marine, pipeline, and energy operations.

Expansion, Assets, and Technical Capability

Following its incorporation, Oceanklass began operations with a single marine asset and pursued deliberate, reinvestment-driven growth. Within a few years, the company expanded its fleet through the acquisition of additional houseboats, later divesting these assets to strategically construct specialized barges tailored for offshore and logistics operations. This transition marked a critical shift toward purpose-built infrastructure. Tugboats were subsequently added through a combination of acquisitions and new builds, significantly strengthening marine support capacity. By the mid-2010s, Oceanklass had established itself as a reliable marine logistics provider with a diversified fleet capable of supporting complex offshore activities. In 2017, the company took a major strategic step by entering pipeline repair and maintenance services, operating initially as a subcontractor under integrated pipeline repair frameworks, laying the groundwork for a strong technical reputation in high-risk environments.

Operational Excellence, Milestones, and Diversification

From 2017 onward, Oceanklass demonstrated exceptional operational performance in pipeline repair and maintenance, successfully executing over 1,200 interventions, including sectional replacements, clamping, in-service welding, and cofferdam construction, without a single Lost Time Injury. This safety-driven consistency, combined with technical efficiency, earned the company direct contract awards from major energy operators. Alongside pipeline services, Oceanklass delivered diverse project support across catering, fabrication, flowline replacement, and wellhead maintenance, reinforcing its versatility. In recent years, the company has completed large-scale flowline replacement projects and continues to maintain active marine logistics and integrated pipeline repair contracts. Drawing on extensive field experience, Oceanklass has also diversified into complementary sectors, giving rise to multiple subsidiaries. Today, the company stands as a resilient, integrated services provider committed to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the energy value chain.
