The project involved the replacement of an existing cofferdam installed to facilitate works on a 24-inch pipeline at a river/low-lying crossing. The objective was to restore structural stability and ensure a safe, dry working environment for ongoing pipeline maintenance or repair activities.
The scope included dewatering, removal of the damaged cofferdam components, installation of new sheet piles and reinforcement supports, sealing against water ingress, and controlled backfilling. All work was executed in accordance with approved engineering specifications and HSE requirements.
Upon completion, the new cofferdam provided improved water control, enhanced structural integrity, and ensured the safe continuation of operations on the 24” pipeline while minimizing environmental impact.
