Project Overview

The project involved the installation of a full-encirclement repair clamp on the 24-inch Trans-Niger Pipeline (TNP) to address identified defects such as corrosion or leakage while maintaining operational continuity. The intervention was aimed at restoring structural integrity, ensuring safe operation, and preventing further deterioration of the affected pipeline section.

The scope covered excavation and exposure of the 24” pipeline, surface preparation of the damaged area, dimensional verification, installation of a pressure-rated clamp assembly, controlled bolt tightening to specified torque, and final inspection. All activities were carried out in compliance with approved engineering procedures and HSE standards.

Upon completion, the clamp provided a secure and durable repair solution, effectively reinstating pipeline integrity and extending the service life of the 24” TNP without major operational disruption.
