Built on commitment, sustained by quality service delivery.Oceanklass Solutions Limited was founded by entrepreneurs led by Dr. Emuemukoro Christopher to engage in the business that include but not limited to Marine logistics and support services, general welding and fabrication, Sales and suppliers of telecom equipment and accessories, computer consumables, steel stockiest, oilfield services, rig works, pipe-line maintenance and repairs, sales and supply and distribution of petroleum, petrochemical and allied products etc.
The birth of Oceanklass solutions
This came about after building on the works of Mr. Emuemukoro Christopher in 2003, where he had registered the company with a business name known as Oceanklass Worldwide Solutions Services as an enterprise. The choice of name "Oceanklass" was hinged on the strategic intent of being at the very top level as typified by the Ocean which is the biggest of waterbodies.
The idea was to remain at the very top by showing class through the provision of excellent services to clients within the sector.
Oceanklass Solutions Limited has its registered Address at 27 Ikwerre Road, Mile 1, Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State and Functional Office at No 36 Trans Amadi Industrial Layout, Port Harcourt. The company also has its Yard/Workshop at Elima House, 123, Aba Road Port Harcourt and a Jetty Space at Holyfield Jetty, No. 2 JDP Bridge, off Alcon Road, Woji, Port Harcourt.
Major Expansions and Innovasions
Oceanklass Solutions Limited was incorporated on the 13th day of June, 2008, The company started with just one 40-Man House Boat (OCEAN 1), which was bought fairly used in 2008. Within a duration of 12 months, we bought two 30-Man House Boats. (KLASS1 SOLUTION 1). In 2010, we bought a 60-Man House Boat called OCEAN 2. In 2012, all these House Boats were sold and the proceeds used to build three new Barges namely:
PRAISE 1: A Dump Barge which was later converted to a Ramp Barge in 2018.
PRAISE 2: A Fuel Barge. In 2022, Praise II was converted to a Ramp barge and re named Praise VII.
BARGE PEACE: A Water Barge. Also in 2022 she was converted to a ramp barge and re named Praise VIII. Currently she has been re converted to a Water Barge.
In 2013, we bought our first Tug Boat (PRAISE III) as fairly used. In 2017, we bought another fairly used Tug Boat (PRAISE VI). That same year, we started building our 120 man House Boat (PRAISE V) which was completed in 2018. In 2018, we built a new Tug Boat (PRAISE IX).
In 2021 we built additional 4 new tugboats (GERE 1, GAGA 1, GHALE 1 & LOHO 1)
All these equipment are currently in various locations.
In June 2017, we ventured into Pipeline repairs and maintenance services as a sub-contractor with Baywood Continental Ltd, Anasami Construction Nig Ltd, and others under the integrated Pipeline Repairs Services (IPRS) with SPDC. We have completely executed over 1,200 jobs ranging from Sectional Replacement of defect points, Clamping, In – Service Welding (Split Tee) and Cofferdam Constructions from 2017 to 2024 without LTI. Owing to our safety culture, consistency, efficient and effective service delivery, in 2024 during the contract renewal, we were awarded the contract directly with SPDC now Renaissance Africa Energy Company.
Major Projects and Milestone
On other project execution, from 2008 to 2009, we provided catering, laundry and housekeeping services to Saipem Construction Nigeria in their Soku Field Operations. We have also manufactured an Open Drain Pump for Saipem on the NOPL jobs in 2015.
In 2024 we completed the replacement of 6.2km of 6” and of 5.646km of 4” Sch. 40 PE Coated flowline pipes at CAWC033L/S Flowlines in Akaso Field, Cawthorne Channel - 2, OML 18(4”) and Well head maintenance on Akaso 17ST OML 18 field through Concave Energy Services and TOJ Energy for NLNG.
We currently have a running contract in Marine logistics and IPRS with Renaissance Africa Energy Company.
Drawing on years of fieldwork Oceanklass has evolved and diversified given birth to other subsidiaries like Timpher Farms, Timpher International Services, OCI travels and Tours and OCI Homes and properties.
